"Mamulbak is a living document of our work — rekindling kinships, promoting unity, and ensuring that our stories — past, present, and future — continue to be told."

Grassroots leadership

Active in the Community

John and Ingrid are active members of the Nauiyu community, driving initiatives that bring people together — building the trust and relationships that make everything else possible.

  • Daly River Buffaloes - We led the re-establishment of the local football club to create an inclusive environment where everyone is family. John is President, Ingrid is Secretary.
  • Local Voice - Through our facilitated groups, we ensure that community aspirations are captured and shared with service providers and funding bodies.
  • Bridging Divides - We act as a neutral party to bring key stakeholders, families, and organisations to the same table — helping to resolve political divides for the good of the community.

LOCAL TALENTS

Supporting Local Artists

Our region is home to an incredible amount of untapped artistic potential. We use our platform to give local talent a stage — celebrating the culture that defines our home.

We respect the important work of Merrepen Arts and aim to complement, not replicate, their role in the region. Mamulbak will create additional space for local artists, cultural products, storytelling, and community-led enterprise.
Our cultural centre will provide a dedicated space for local artists to work, showcase, and sell their art — supporting both individual livelihoods and community pride.

Promoting Unsung Artists

We use our platform to showcase the work of local artists and makers, connecting their creativity with visitors from across Australia and the world.
